I have 5 images hanging at Boulder Digital Arts in the current "Thin Places" show.
What is a ' Thin Place?' In Gaelic and Celtic cultures, it's any place where the veil between the ordinary and the transcendent is thinnest...where heaven and earth are only steps apart. Thin places relax us, transform us, and help us step beyond the cold logic of the mundane world.
Thin places are highly personal and often primal, like cathedrals, ancient ruins, or windswept coastlines, but they can also include bars, ball parks, or public spots - any place that narrows the gap. A select group of professional photographers are contributing their Thin Places to grace the walls of both the east and west walls of BDA from Friday, April 12through mid-June, 2013.
